“Pompeii was excellent. Well coordinated with a wonderful guide, Ileana. We saw everything that was important and she set the scene and told the history very well. Herculaneum was less thrilling, and the guide had a harder time keeping the tour together and maintaining interest. The downside of the day was the lengthy wait prior to lunch while we waited for a much larger group. There was no reason to spend 45 minutes waiting, and then have a longer than necessary time for lunch because of the big group. It was disappointing and wasted time that we could have spent in Pompeii on our own. All in all, the time…”
